Taking Time to Be Thankful
Welcome to November! It’s that wonderful time of year, as Thanksgiving Day approaches, that we pause and reflect on the blessings we have in our lives. This world is full of things to complain and stress about, but even so, there is st much to be grateful for!! That is why I am taking part in the Thankfulness Challenge; Every day from now through Thanksgiving, I will be posting to Facebook and Instagram at least one thing that I am thankful for in my life. To start with, I’m thankful for how fantastic my year has been so far! Every town I’ve been to, every show I’ve played, every person I’ve met, it’s all
been incredible! And it reminds me how truly blessed I am to do what I love for a living. 🙂
This time of year is also the beginning of “convention season” for me. This is when I go to different state, regional, and even international fair and festival conventions to book work for next year. We just finished up the Oregon Fairs Association convention in Albany, Oregon last weekend. The week before, we were in Vancouver, Washington for
the Washington State Fairs Association convention. Next weekend I’ll be in Colorado Springs, Colorado for the dual convention of the Colorado Fairs Association and the Rocky Mountain Association of Fairs.
This weekend however, I’m performing in southeast Idaho! Tonight (Thursday) I will be playing at Puerto Vallarta in Pocatello, Idaho: home to some of the sweetest people and most amazing food on the PLANET!!
Friday and Saturday night I’m performing at Stingers in Blackfoot, Idaho: which is run by more of the nicest and most genuine people ever!
I’m so thankful for to be doing what I love, alongside amazing people who make my job a dream come true!
And even more, I’m thankful for all of you fans out there!! Without you, there would be no reason to do what I’m doing (and nobody would be reading this…..that would be awkward…).
I love each and every one of you!
May God bless and keep y’all safe through this wonderful season.
